What we collect
From the RecordScout app: the photos you submit for identification, the results of each scan (identified record, estimated condition and value, timestamps), a device identifier, and subscription status. From the recordscout.app website: standard server logs; analytics runs only in privacy-preserving mode.
How we use it
To identify your records and show value estimates, to improve recognition quality, and to build aggregate statistics such as “most-scanned records” that appear on this site. Photos of records may also be shown on our catalog pages under the license described in the Terms of Use — labels, sleeves and condition details only, with technical metadata (such as location data) removed, and never photos that knowingly show recognizable people or private surroundings.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal data. Photos and scan data are processed by the infrastructure and image-recognition providers that run the Service, under our instructions. Data is kept for as long as needed to operate and improve the Service.
Your choices
To have your photos or scan history deleted, or to withdraw the photo license, email support@yurbanltd.com from any address, naming the record or approximate date of the scan. We answer within 30 days.
